Read the calendar sync guideHow does calendar sync work?
Copy your iCal export links from your booking platforms and add them to a property in Settings. HomestayCalendar reads those feeds and shows the booked dates together. Each property also has an export link for direct bookings and manual blocks you create here.
Will changes appear instantly on Airbnb or Booking.com?
No. iCal updates are not instant. HomestayCalendar checks feeds in the background, and you can refresh the app manually. Each booking platform decides when to read your HomestayCalendar export link. Check the platform before accepting a last-minute reservation.
What does my export link include?
Your property’s export link includes direct bookings and manual date blocks created in HomestayCalendar. It does not re-export reservations imported from other channels. Keep your existing channel-to-channel calendar connections if you use them.
Can I use it for just one property?
Yes. You can manage 1 to 8 properties. Leave any channel you do not use blank, and add more properties when you need them.
Does this replace a channel manager?
HomestayCalendar helps you view occupancy and manage blocked dates with iCal. Rates, guest messaging, payments, and booking policies stay with your booking platforms.
Can I change the calendar language?
Yes. Choose English, Spanish, Bahasa Melayu, Japanese, Korean, or German when you register, or change it later in Settings → App & account. English is the default. Your calendar and account interface use your chosen language; your property names and booking labels stay as entered.
Is it free to use?
Yes. The current host plan is free for up to 8 properties, with no credit card required.
